Our History

Since its establishment in 2012, GDC Consulting has been providing a wide range of consulting services for the governments and public agencies in the Republic of Korea and partner countries. The services include ODA research, strategy planning, project design, implementation and evaluation in ODA field. 

 

For domestic companies, GDC has been supporting their market entry into developing countries, as well as ODA projects development and implementation.

2022

  • Received 'Best Partnership’ award from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). 

2021

  • The first Program Evaluation: Program Evaluation for Building resilience against COVID-19 through development cooperation (ABC), KOICA.

​

  • Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Polytechnics (Seongnam Campus).

​

  • Selected as a Youth-friendly Hidden Champion by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL).

2019

  • The first MDB Project: Mining and Environmental Remediation and Improvement Project in Zambia, World Bank. 

​

  • Started to operate under the new name as “GDC Consulting Co., Ltd.”

​

  • Relocated the company to Gangnam, Seoul.

2017

  • The first Project Financing: Ukraine Renewable Energy Development Project and Project Financing. 

2015

  • The first MDB Strategy Planning: Masterplan for Korean firms’ Entry into Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) Procurement Market, K-Water.

 

  • The first ODA Strategy Planning: Masterplan for Korean firms’ International Project Awards, KIAT.

2014

  • The first PMC: DR Congo, Establishment of National Museum: Project Management Consulting (PMC), KOICA.

2013

  • Joined as a member of the Development Alliance Korea (DAK)

2012

  • The first Ex-Post Evaluation: Ex-post Evaluation of Primary and Secondary Education Projects in Palestine and Kenya, KOICA.

  • Established “Global Development Cooperation Consulting, Inc.”
