GDC Consulting provides services to assist the overseas market entry by utilizing domestic and international ODA funds, which is worth 180 billion US dollars, for Korean companies that are unfamiliar with the international criteria and procurement procedures of individual donor organizations. 

Particularly, our services cover target market analysis, project model assessment, local partner due diligence, formation of a local project team, government relations, design of impact business, etc.

In addition, we support our partners establish a presence in the UN, MDB procurement market as a professional vendor. We also provide project design advisory and performance management services for our partners to achieve the development effectiveness and ESG goals.

Strategy Planning and Policy Research

GDC Consulting has supported the preparation of strategic plans to effectively match local demands with  Korean technologies and capacity by establishing ODA policy and strategy for many government clients. 

From the initial stage of program design, we offer ODA strategy planning services to help the Korean government and public institutes implement their project in accordance with global trends and standards. Also, based on a precise understanding and information on the pipeline projects included in the government’s strategy, we introduce the project procedures to the private companies that are interested in ODA projects.

M&E and Performance Management

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) are key activities that determine the success of international development cooperation. In addition, M&E contribute to the systematic management of development effectiveness and enhancement of ODA projects’ coherence. 

Since early 2010s when Korea started the evaluation of the ODA projects, GDC Consulting has led the various types of evaluation and performance  indicator development for hundreds of ODA projects. 

The evaluation results and lessons learned provided by GDC Consulting have been contributing to the substantial improvement of the Korean ODA activities.
